Here's the Deal

Brian and I are in kind of a pickle. It is not earth-shattering or even really that interesting. We can't decide whether to get a brand new 42" flatscreen TV or a treadmill. The problem is that we have REALLY good reasons for wanting, I mean NEEDING, both of them. We have gone over it and over it and can't decide. So, what would you do?
Here's the situation.... It snows here in WI. Alot. And it gets really cold. My rule is that I will not go running outside if it's under 15 degrees. If I keep my rules that means I will not be running very much. I could say I won't go if its below zero, but come on, 15 degrees is EXTREMELY cold. I've done it before. I could pay the $35 at a gym to use their treadmill but why would I do that when I could use that $$$ and buy my own treadmill?
Or get a TV. What is better than watching Elmo (Lala) lifesize? I wouldn't know b/c my TV is small.
So, folks, I put it in your hands. Let the voting begin!!

Hmmm, how about BOTH? :) My vote is for a treadmill, or I guess you could try running in place all winter?

That's tuff one. I would wait and see the Black Friday deals and see if you could get both or get a good treadmill and then a 32" If it were me I would go for the treadmill, as you will be working your butt off and the tv watching with a screen that big will give you a butt. LOL

As one of 17 remaining people in the universe without a plasma tv or cell phone, my vote is for the treadmill. No matter how bad you want the tv, you don't NEED it.

I have experienced a Wisconsin winter. You need the treadmill. You will get good use of it, especailly with how much you run.

Courtney and I both decided that you guys should go with the treadmill. TV shows these days are so here today and gone tomorrow. What you want is great thighs that last a lifetime, until you hit forty and you have to get liposuction to maintain them . . . on second thought, go with the tv.

Treadmill. For sure. I promise you don't want to run outside this winter. Pushing that stroller of yours through the snow would be a sight to see! Speaking of strollers, I got a BOB Revolution Duallie at the REI garage sale for $200!!! I was stoked! Someone bought it this summer and used it for a month and decided it wasn't the quality they expected. Sweet deal for me! Did you ever find one on Craigslist?
