It is a big day around the Kleinman household. Firstly, Rad found his tra-la-la. It was only a matter of time and we knew this day would come.
Secondly, it is our 7th Anniversary today. Yup, 7th. That's alotta years, folks. As we reminisced about our favorite memories of the day, we remembered that my sister, Julie, was left at the Mesa Temple for a coupla hours before somebody realized that she wasn't there. This was before EVERYBODY and their dogs had cell phones, so we were not totally sure that she was there. Anyhow, I didn't really care or know about this debacle until after she arrived at our post-wedding dinner. I guess the funniest thing about leaving Julie at the temple was that it wasn't the first time that we left her somewhere and didn't really notice till a while later. When we lived in MA, we left her at the house three times that I remember when we went to church. I think my mom finally noticed that we were minus one during closing exercises in Primary. I am not totally sure what this says about Julie or my parents, but good memories.
Seven years, 5 apartments, one house, four moves, one baby, 11Emergency hospital visits, 7 years of school (10 if you throw mine in there), one doggie, tons of laughs, two surgeries (all Brian's), we've been to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, the top of Pikes' Peak and two totaled cars.... Brian, we have hardly started!!

Ode to Gunnison, CO
The other reason we love Gunnison is referenced by the picture above. This is not a postcard. My mom really thought it was a postcard. Nope! I took this doozy with my own hands, while driving behind said awesomeness. I was a tiny bit afraid that if he saw me taking this picture (mostly laughing at him) that he would hunt me down and display my ugly mug from the top of the elk horns. If you look closely- actually, you don't have to look that closely- you might see something riding on the top of the horns that does, in fact, kind of resemble my head (or at least a girl with long brown hair). All the same- awesome. Or maybe he would prop me next to the bobcat. I had a thought that we ought to offer him Buddy's carcass (when he leaves this mortal life) to display on his bike. I mean, the possibilities are endless!!!
Anyhow, Gunnison, CO, we will miss you this year!

"Nancy Is Going To Be a Daddie..."
"We're pregnant!! We are having babies!!!", Julie hollers into the phone from Arizona, "Nancy is going to be a dad!!!"
Firstly, Nancy, turns out, is a boy. No, this is not some weird story of a woman-turned-man-turned-pregnant, although it very well could be. Secondly, Julie is not pregnant, nor is she dating a woman.
Nope, it is Nancy, Julie's goldfish. The proud Mommie is Julie's other goldfish- Prudence.
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the proud family.
xoxo
