Doggie Art- or something like that

So I have discovered Photoshop CS2. When I was hugely pregnant and it was snowing outside and I was under the doctor's orders to not run anymore, I found a fabulous hobby. I just wanted to post some of my projects b/c I think they turned out pretty awesome. And it was a ton of fun to learn CS2, although I have a feeling that I haven't even scratched the surface of what can be done with this program.
BTW, Buddy is my little doggie. Isn't he cute? But be careful, he'll bite your head off.
Good night, Moon!!

Sunday Morning

I woke up early this morning to do what busy mommies do, and when I went in to check on Konrad, I found all my boys snuggled up together in bed. I ran to get my camera and this picture is what I got. Sometimes I have these moments where I feel so lucky and blessed. This was one of those moments. There are a lot of bad things going on in the world that are so sad and so many people that need our help, but here I am on a Sunday morning taking a picture of my boys waking up and being so adorable. I feel so lucky...and blessed. Everyone should feel so loved.

3 Month Photoshoot

Here are some pics of Konrad's three-month photoshoot. Grandma came to visit and we set up shot and got some darling pictures of little Rad. He is getting so big and has started grabbing some of his little toys. Grandma got him a little walker that we put him in and wheel him around. He can't do it himself yet, but in the next few weeks he is going to find some freedom.

Konrad pictures

Little Rad is so darned cute after his bath in the mornings. I get just about all of our cutest pictures after his bath. It was just Rad and I for part of this week while Brian was in Dallas presenting his research. We got lots of pictures and had a lot of playtime, but we are very glad to have Daddie home with us;)

Enjoy!

I "Sawl" the Bachelor on Monday Night...

I was going to dedicate an entire post to the use of the word (or pseudo-word) "EXPECIALLY", when I realized that in that post I could also talk about the use of the pseudo-word "EXPRESSO". Then I ran into Starbuck's to use a gift certificate and get myself a deliciously fattening muffin, and heard "EXPRESSO" from the idiot in front of me in line. I have this picture in my mind about what this person should look like, and you know what? I am right every time. Black eyeliner, alien hair (ie Victoria Beckham).... and Ugg boots. Yes, Ugg boots. Ususally, this person is less than 22 years of age, but not always. To top it off (literally), a trucker's hat may or may not be found in her closet.

What does any of this have to do with the Bachelor, you might ask?? I am not going to name drop or anything (Lorenzo Lamas) but the 22 year-old Shayne is my new, glowing stereotype of the girl described above. She is interested in 5 things: watches, shoes, handbags, and two other totally pretentious, shallow things that some women use to cover their souls. Did anyone notice how coyly she acted about "forgetting" about the rose and how her voice seemed to go up three octaves when she talked to the Bachelor?

Anyways, I saw her in her Ugg boots (or Fugg boots) and she actually uttered the word "sawl", not "saw", not once, but twice. Do you know what I know about people who say the words "expecially" and "sawl"? They can't (or don't or both) read books. They obviously can't read fashion mag's b/c for about the last 4 years, Fugg boots/short skirts/trucker hats have been officially declared OUT.
