Mexico
Well we made it back from Mexico. No we were not taken hostage by drug dealers, no we did not get thrown into prison. It was a good time as always. The water was cold and it was a little bit windy and rainy, but overall it was a great time. Joey had a fun time on the Polaris. Let me explain what I mean when I say fun time. First of all you have to realize that he Polaris is a big 4x4 quad that weighs about 600 pounds. Joey weighs about 80 pounds. So when the quad decided to role over there wasn't a whole lot that Joe could do. It happened on a new track that we started right behind the house. Joe was flying up a huge burm and missed the track. The result was that the quad began to tip over. Joe jumped off, but he jumped right in front of the quad. The 600 pounder roled twice right over Joe. He was luck that the only injury was a big gash in the back of his head. Well I just super glued it up and all was fine. Well that is all for now some photos will follow.

If you don't wreck you aren't going fast enough!!!
Another day another injury. I don't know why, but it seems that I am the only one in the family to be continuously hurt. Sure Dusty has had his day in the sun with the knee surgeries and all, but wait I've done that too. Eric had the whole run throught the glass door thing, all he got was a few stitches, I've had t have a few stitches too. Well currently I have a wicked case of wip lash, a deep bone contusion, and a gash in my leg that would have needed stitches if not for the wonderful invention of supper glue. Well like the title suggests fast is fun slow sucks and scars are memoris, better that pictures. Sticking with that theory I decided to throw myself down a 10 foot cliff yesterday while riding my bike. Boy let me tell you how much fun that was. Needless to say I owe my life to the good ol' boys at Bell helmets, but I guess that's why I got the dang thing, can't let it go to waste. I felt ok when I realized what happened so I just got up and started riding. All was good until is noticed my leg was covered in blood. Any way I came home and supper glued it back together, something I watched mom do to Eric's head more than once. It's all good now and I'm looking forward to gooing to Mexico this weekend. Check out the BLOG when we get back.

Here I am enjoying one of my favorite pastimes, riding my mountain bike, on a trial in the Mcdowell mountains. You will all see that I really believe that a picture is worth a thousand words so I will be posting more pictures than text. I think that pictures just tell the story better, or it might just be that I am lazy, you make the call.
2/13/05 First Try
Well this is the first posting, here it goes. What's this all about, this BLOG thing? If you have questions that makes two of us. I actually had a friend send me a link to something she called a BLOG. I had no idea what that ment, but I decided to check it out anyway. I just hit the link and it took me to a web page that basically looked like a journal. I thought that was really cool so I decided to check into this BLOG thing a little more. I googled it and found out that a BLOG is simply an online journal. BLOG is short for Web Log. I spent a little more time on the subject and found out that I could make my own BLOG for free. I went to the first free site that I could find and literally 5 minutes later I was writting this message. Well I know that I have a lot of playing to do with this, but I hope that this site can become a place where all our friends and family can keep up with us and even post messages so we can keep up with them. I hope you all don't think that I am totally stupid for not knowing what a BLOG is or my numerous spelling mistakes. If so oh well I am what I am.
