Another November and here I am again, elbow deep in pumpkin. However, this time around I have a food processor, which is awesome. I got 13 cans of the orange stuff to share with friends and friends, since I have no family within 1500 miles. I have even made a pre-Thanksgiving Thanksgiving dinner, complete with cranberry sauce and punkin pie. Seriously delicious, that pie. The thing that was really intersting this time around was that one pumpkin was really light colored, almost white. The other pumpkin was a really pretty (normal) orange. I will tell you that they taste the same! BTW, Konrad loves pumpkin pie. Actually, he probably loves whipped cream. How could you not love pumpkin pie? Brian, that is a question for you to answer.

How could you not love pumpkin pie...
well lets see, how could you not love watching hours of football on TV it's all in personal preference I guess. And for the record it's not that I don't like the pie it's just I like donuts so much more. You thought I would never read the blogg and never answer your question didn't you...
Ahh, good times. I wish I was there to eat some of your pumpkin. Last year it was delish.... where do you find all the time?? You are one wild woman!
You inspired me when you showed up at my house with your cooked pumpkin and I made an amazing pie with it last year. So this year I roasted my own pumpkins and have made a pie out of it. We enjoyed it last week. I made a pre-thanksgiving dinner on Sunday. I love not working and this time of year. Thanks for the inspiration.
I will say this, I don't like pumpkin pie either. Its the texture, nasty.
